Mrs. Stacey Eding - Technology, Music, Physical Education
During technology classes, students’ use brand new Surface Pro tablets. NCS students learn how to properly type on a keyboard, make a PowerPoint, and use Microsoft Excel and Word. The students learn how to research information on the Internet and complete many different projects, from making brochures to creating graphs. The goal for technology is that each student understands the proper way to use a computer with all of its components for when they leave and attend other schools.
Music class is a time when students learn all about reading music. They learn the names of notes, how many beats each note receives, and how to properly play each note using recorders. Students learn about different genres of music. We also prepare for many different performances including Grandparents Day, the Christmas Program, and Celebration Night.
Physical Education is a safe secure place where students can learn the fundamentals of exercise, sports, and healthy living. We teach the correct way to play sports, from soccer to hockey. We learn new jump rope tricks and play games that focus on team work, encouragement, and patience.
